Senior Living Scope of Care

At Summerset, we have a team of care professionals that are highly equipped to deliver quality and timely care to our residents. Our senior living scope of care is all encompassing.

Our licensed nurse performs physical, emotional, and cognitive assessments for each resident prior to move in. Additionally, our residents receive an assessment 30 days after they move in, and every six months thereafter or upon a change in condition.

The nurse, along with the recommendation of the resident’s physician and family, puts together an individual plan of care that meets the needs of the resident.  We use these assessments to make sure that our residents are receiving the senior living scope of care they need. This ensures the appropriate amount of staff are involved.

Our senior living scope of care services to each resident includes:

  •  Personal care – assistance with the activities of daily living, including getting dressed, bathing, grooming, safety check-ups, and escorting the resident to and from daily events
  •  Medication reminders – includes consultation with primary physicians and pharmacies, plus ordering medications and scheduled reviews of medicine by a licensed nurse
  •  Incontinence management – daytime and overnight assistance

If you would like to lean more about how our senior living scope of care can improve your daily life without sacrificing your independence, then contact us today. We would love to show you our facilities in person.
